Welcome to Librarie Phoenix
FAQ
Phoenix is a used bookstore with a variety of new and used books, a selection of charming, cozy, whimsical items for gifting, thrifting and enjoying at home and an event venue that hosts community, cultural, literature, music, art, cinema and intellectual events.
The Phoenix symbol draws from the mythological stories of a bird that transforms and rises from its own ashes in a state of eternal life. For us the phoenix represents transformation, resilience and our commitment to illuminating minds through ideas.
Occasionally, we accept used books that are in good condition, that are in alignment with our curation goals and are what are patrons are looking for. We do not accept all books, in particular we do not accept books that are dirty, damaged or socially offensive. We aim to offer our customers and patrons high quality books and literature that is in excellent condition.
We carry a variety of previously loved books and new local books by Quebec and Canadian authors, some collectibles, art and gift items. We have books in both French and English, as well as many other languages, but definitely more books in English. We pride ourselves on cultural and linguistic diversity. In Phoenix you will find little treasures for all!
